I'm Aaron Tucker, and this is how to double lace a shoe. First, you want to start with a shoelace selection. Figure out what you are trying to convey. Are you showing your school spirit and you want your school colors or are you just going for a different look? After you have selected the type of laces that you want, make sure you find shoelaces that are equal in length and that add up to the number of eyelets on the shoes in which you are choosing to double lace. First you start with the first pair, go into the bottom set of eyelets, do the under over method. This way you don't have to worry about any bulking at the bottom of your shoes and it will be easier to lace up with these two laces. So you want to start going underneath the two bottom sets of eyelets, bring your shoelaces up, pull them all the way up and make sure that they are even, then you start lacing as normal but you are going to skip to every other hole. It's time to incorporate the second set of laces. So the second from the bottom set, the empty set you want to go with the under over method again and bring them up and again you'll continue to alternate, you're going to lace all the way up to either the top or the second to the top, tie, whichever way you choose to tie them. If they are long enough, you can possibly tie them together but pretty much, you're all done now.
