Hi, my name is Teresa Ward, and today I'm going to show you how to clean and deodorize your toothbrush. It is always a good practice to clean your toothbrush, thoroughly, at least once a week. This is an important step for good dental hygiene, because bacteria are airborne and can get into your toothbrush causing a yucky bacteria to reside on the brush, and in your mouth. A way to keep the bacteria to a limit is to make sure you put a cover on your toothbrush, and when you flush your toilet, put the lid down. So, here's a quick tip on keeping it clean: you want to take your dirty toothbrush, once a week, and put it securely, on the top rack of your dishwasher. This will kill the bacteria, and germs. Thanks for hanging out with Teresa's Family Cleaning, Long Island's home cleaning expert. I hope these tips have helped to keep your home clean, and remember, our reputation is spotless!
