Hello, everyone, and my name is Teresa Ward, and I'm here to give you some quick tips on how to clean your marble tabletop safely. It is important to use the guidelines on how to clean natural stone, like marble, so that you can maintain it's smooth surface. Also, marble is one of the most delicate stones, and therefore, you must never use harsh abrasives, and never use items such as vinegar or citrus fruits, because they are acidic and can break down the stone. So, here's what you will need: baking soda, one quart of warm water, a non-aerosol spray bottle, and a microfiber cloth. Cleaning a marble tabletop is delicate work, so when I need to clean the delicate surfaces, here's what I do: I add three tablespoons of baking soda to one quart of warm water and I mix it together in a spray bottle. Then, spray on the surface. Lastly, with a microfiber cloth, gently rub in circular motions. Another important thing to know is never let marble air dry, so make sure you have extra cloths handy to wipe dry your marble. Thanks for hanging out with Teresa's Family Cleaning. We hope these tips help to make your home cleaner, and remember, our reputation is spotless!
