Hello, everyone. I'm Joshua Clement. Today, I'm going to talk to you about how to insulate your outlet plugs. During those cold months there's a lot of times that those gusts especially directional winds, can get through the walls in your house and the cold air can come out of your outlets. To fix this they sell a little foam pad that is installed over top of your switches and your outlets. It's very easy to install. For this job all you are going to need is a flat head screwdriver and your insulation pads. The first thing we are going to have to do is remove our cover plates. For that we are going to take the flat head screwdriver and remove the mounting screws on the face of the plate. Next we are going to take our insulation pad, we are going to press it over our switch or outlet. Then we are going to take our plate and put it back into place and go ahead and tighten that back up. It's always a great investment to insulate your homes. So that way during the heating and cooling months you can go ahead and keep those bills down. Thank you all for watching. And good luck with this project.
