Hello, everyone. I'm Joshua Clement, and today I'm going to talk to you about what air conditioner size to use for a 250 square foot room. BTUs stands for British Thermal Units. Basically it's how fast can a unit heat or cool a room. The bigger the unit the better it is. This unit right here is a 10,000 BTU unit. This can cool about 4 to 500 square feet. If you're wanting to cool 250 square feet you want to go to about a 5 or 6,000 BTU unit. That will be the most efficient size unit for that area. If you're trying to cool a kitchen or utility room you want to bump it up by at least 10 percent because of the high humidity from a dryer and cooking. Thank you all for watching and good luck with this project.
