Hi, I'm Ashley Blanton and today, we're going to learn how to attach Amika hair extensions. Amika hair extensions are a great brand of hair, clip-in hair as well as some other extensions. But, today we're going to learn how to put in their seven-piece hair extensions. So, let's get started. So, the Amika hairpiece set comes with seven pieces. The first one is you have two pieces of your one-inch set, that's actually really good for the top layers of the hair. So, if you have some funky pieces, you can put on the top of it, on top of the crown. Then, you have three four-inch pieces; those are really good for the back of the head or below the ear level. Then, you have two eight-inch pieces. Generally, I like to put those around the ear area to kind of blend in everything, okay. And it's a good idea to work from the top down so that you don't have heavy weight from your haircut showing. Okay. And a lot of people use two boxes of extensions, so you get a really full look. So, let's show you; I'm going to demonstrate really quickly how to put in a hair extension. We're going to do the one-inch, make sure your parts are neat. Generally, I like to pull the hair back to give the hair some tension. Okay. So, you pull the hair taut against the head to give the clip something to hold onto. You're going to put the teeth open, you're going to press until you hear it snap. And then, that's how you install your clip-in extension with Amika.
