Hi, I'm Ashley Blanton. And today, we're going to learn how to get bead extensions out. Now what are bead extensions? They're also called Micro-link Extensions, Micro Bead Extensions. They're made, they're actually little beads that are made of aluminum or copper materials that are pulled through your hair and inserted with an extension. The best thing about these extensions are that they're easy to install and most importantly easy to remove. Because there's no heat and no glue. So, let's get started. So, to remove bead extensions or Micro Bead Extensions, you just need a few tools. The first thing is an extension plier, it comes with two holes, a large and a small. Some of them come with more, but most of them come with a large and a small hole. Also, you'll need a fine tooth comb, this one has different teeth. Also, in some cases you might come across a lot of gunk, some product build-up. And it's good to break that up or soften that with some water. So, we have a water bottle here today. O.k., guys, this is very simple. You're going to take the bead, find the corresponding hole that fits. You're going to gently clamp, should make a cylindrical shape. You're going to hold the root, tug the hair gently till it comes out. Remove the bead. If there's any residue or gunk present, you're going to spray it with water. Kind of rub that in, to get it a little bit soft. Get your fine tooth comb, comb out the reside and press till you're done. And that's how you remove a bead extension.
