Hey, everybody, Joe Liptock, audio engineer. Today, I'm gonna be talking about ways that you can sound proof a room to prevent hearing a dog barking. So in this situation you want to kill those sound waves, and to do that you need materials that will absorb the sound waves. This would include foam, carpeting, such things like that. Now in this situation, if you really want to deaden a room, I would suggest hanging foam on every inch of the walls in the room. Get carpet, lay it throughout the room, and even if you have it in your budget, suspend the room, the structure of the room, from any structure in your house so that nothing propagates into that room using the walls and what not. So, that's basically how you create a dead sound booth, and anything that you have in it or outside of it, sound will not be able to travel through. So, I hope that helps get rid of some ominous barking of the dogs, and I hope that you get some sleep, you have some peaceful time to yourself, and I hope that you've learned something from this video. My name's Joe Liptock, thanks for watching.
