Hi. I'm Joseph Yacino, YaDa Chef. And today I am going to show you how to melt chocolate for dipping strawberries. Just a few things that you need. You need 8 ounces of 225 grams of bitter sweet or semi sweet chocolate, you also need a half cup or 125 mils of heavy cream. You're going to pour your heavy cream into the sauce pan, going to bring it over to the stove and heat it up to a simmer, not quite to a boil. OK. So, have the cream warming up on the stove 2 or 3 minutes. Just pour it right over the chocolate stir around. This is just going to, it's just enough heat to gently melt the chocolate. You're just going to stir until it's nice, smooth and creamy consistency, all the little bits of chocolate are melted. And just take your strawberry, dip it in the chocolate.
