Hi. I'm Joseph Yacino, YaDa Chef, and today I'm going to show you how to make roasted pears with Amaretto and macaroons. Few things you're going to need, 4 pears cut in half, cored, 3 tablespoons of 45 mils of Amaretto, 1 tablespoon 15 mils of Balsamic vinegar, 8 Amaretti or Amaretto macaroons and a quarter cup 60 mils of water. Pouring the Amaretto into the baking dish, Balsamic and water. Now, place your pears cut side down into the baking dish, you're preheating your oven to 425 degrees. You're just going to take this and you're going to swish it all over a little bit. OK. So the pears have been roasting, I just took them out. They were in a 425 degree or 218 Celsius oven for about 25 minutes. You can tell they're done. You can place a knife in easily, they're soft. When we're going to plate them we're going to take some of the macaroons, just crumble them here on to the plate. Then take a little bit of some pastry cream, just going to build a little nest. In one of the pears I put them cut side up, a little bit crumble another of the the amaretti or the macaroons. A little bit of the roasting juices, a little more creme patisserie, just to make it look nice. And there you have it. Roasted pears with macaroons and Amaretto. I'm chef Joseph Yacino.
