Hi, my name is chef Ben Diaz, and today I'm going to show you how to make brownies softer. The reason to make these brownies is they're simple, they're chewy and gooey and great for any kid. First want to put one cup of semi sweet chocolate over. Next going to melt it over low heat, stir occasionally to make sure the chocolate is completely melted before going on to the next step. Next remove your chocolate from your heat. Keep in mind keep it in the same mixing bowl. Next we're going to add one cup of flour, one tablespoon of baking powder, followed by one cup of brown sugar. Mix thoroughly to combine. Next I'm going to add one teaspoon of vanilla followed by one large egg. Finally going to add one quarter cup softened butter. Mix thoroughly to combine the batter. What you're going to have is a chunky yet smooth batter. Finally take your baking sheet, line with parchment paper or silpad. Spray with nonstick spray, pour in your batter and spread out evenly to coat. Next we're going to take our sheet pan of brownies, stick them in to a 300 degree oven for about 40 to 45 minutes and what you have is simple, gooey and delicious brownies.
