Hi, my name is chef Ben Diaz, and today I'm going to show you how to make a sour candy powder. The reason is it's a great simple powder you can use for any and every occasion. First want to take a standard coffee grinder. You can also use a food processor if you don't have a coffee grinder. Next add a quarter cup of sour candy. For example I use cherry jolly ranchers because they're sweeter and harder than most hard candies. Next add one tablespoon of tapioca powder. You can find this easily in any grocery store. Now we put the cover on, squeeze tightly, we're going to pulse it for about three to five times to make sure the grounds get grounded somewhat softly. Next we're going to turn it on for about five seconds continuously to make our powder. Finally what you have is a sweet powder you can use for any and every occasion.
