Hi, my name is Linda Giancaspro. And this is how to correct flat feet in ballet. Ballet dancers perform many foot exercises to maintain the strength of their feet. The professional ballet dancer needs to have a very high arch in order to achieve the classic streamline look that the ballet dancer wants for her leg and foot to appear as one. Beginning in a standard yoga table press up into your feet. Keeping your knees bent. And drop, press up again. Keeping your knees bent. A lot of pressure is in the foot. Bend. This time press up and stretch completely straight knees and roll down. Sitting up tall, hold a ballet Thera-Band in two hands. And begin to point the toe. Stretch the toes as far down as possible. And now release. Extending the legs straight up in the air point the toes fully. Turn the feet out and begin to release the toe muscles to the side on one foot. And next foot. And point and point. Thanks for watching. Hope these tips help.
