Hey, this is Charles Henson. Today, I'm going to show you how to block Facebook on your work network. So the reason you may want to block Facebook is because you have noticed that a lot of users are accessing Facebook during the day and they are doing this instead of working and getting their jobs done. So we're going to log into the router, open up an Explorer, log into the router itself. Under the manual setup, you will see an option here for parental controls. We want to turn on parental controls and deny computer's access to only these sites. And so we're going to choose that we're going to block some websites and down here we'll type in www.facebook.com and we can tell it to always block it or we can set up a schedule of time to block it if we want to block it only at lunchtime or during business hours and we're just going to go ahead and choose always block it and then we will save this setting and we will reboot the router. Once the router comes back online, as you will see we will go to Facebook.com and the webpage doesn't come up. Now that we have Facebook blocked on your network, we have piece of mind knowing that the employees are actually getting work done instead of socializing with their friends or giving them updates on what they are going to be doing later this evening.
