Hi, I'm Summer Vasilas, and today I'm gonna teach you some waxing tips for knuckles. Waxing your knuckles is as easy as any other body part, and I'm gonna show you some great techniques. Let's get started. Typically most people do not have hair here on the top of the knuckles, where they do have hair is right in between, and that can be a tricky area to wax. So I'm gonna show you an, some easy tricks. First you want to pull that skin tight, so those knuckles protrude and it makes that skin nice and tight. It gives you a nice tight canvas to apply your wax, versus that skin being loose. You're gonna wanna use a small stick. This is gonna help keep you in control of your wax application. You want to start by prepping with some powder. You can use a talc powder, such as a baby powder, or talc-free, such as a cornstarch powder, which is what I'm using. You want to prep the area with that powder, it helps to put a protective barrier down between the wax and the skin. You want to use the side of your stick, versus the flat edge of your stick, when you're applying your wax, and simply just draw it in. You don't need to build up that wax, that thin application will be sufficient enough to get all of the hair. I pre-cut my wax strips into small strips, which will be easier to control. You're gonna gently place it down, and give some good pressure onto the strip. You can see the wax starting to show through that strip. And a nice quick pull. And just follow along and really work that strip into between the knuckles there to make sure that wax and the hair is adhered to your strip, and just keep following along. And also pulling the skin really tight, which is gonna make the removal much, more comfortable. Now where you have those wax pieces left behind, you can fold your strip and use this as your tab that you're gonna hold onto, and this is your clean side, and just go back over and rub those pieces onto your strip. Once you have most of that wax residue removed, you can finish removing the rest with just a small amount of oil, and rub it into the hand, really working on massaging it in. And that's how you wax the knuckles.
