Hey, this is Cathy. I'm gonna show you how to convert a table to text. Converting a table to text is really useful because you can extract simply the text and use it for other purposes, and here's how you do it. If you to Excel and you have a table, such as this, with columns, what you'll need to do is, it's really easy, just select the table. So start from the first cell at the top and drag all the way to the bottom cell at the bottom-right, and that's how you select your table Right-click while it's still selected, and go to copy. Open up your Word document to a blank Word document or wherever you'd like to paste your text, and you're going to right-click in the document, and you're going to paste, but you're gonna paste special. So what you want to do is you want to go over to the paste option, that is simply paste as text, and you want to click that. And what will happen is the formatting will be a little off. You can delete your column headings if you'd like. I'm gonna highlight my column headings and delete them. And then you'll have simply the text. And what you might have to do is put spaces between them to reformat them to look pretty, but there you have your text in your document, and that's how you convert a table into text. Thanks for watching, this is Cathy.
