Hi, my name is Marija, and today I'm going to show you how to convert the measurement of cubic feet to tons. The conversion rate that you need to know is that one cubic foot is equivalent to approximately .025 freight tons. So once you know this conversion rate you can go ahead and use it to convert any amount of cubic feet into tons. So let's say that I have three feet cubed and I want to know how many tons is that equivalent to. All we're going to do is now multiply the rate that we already have. So we're going to take .025 and multiply by 3 and you have 15, 7, 0 and we're going to move our space over and we get .075 tons. So you can just use this to multiply any amount of tons. If we had 100 cubic feet, we would get move over spaces and you would get 2.5 tons. So whatever number of cubic feet you have, you just multiply that same number by .025 and you would get the equivalent measurement in tons.
