I'm Aaron Tucker, and this is how are jeans sizes measured. Jeans go by two sizes. You'll find them either on the inside tag, on the sales tag or there may be another brand specific tag usually on the back of the butt pocket. Jeans are measure by the waist first and then the second number is going to be by your inseam. So whatever your waist is, you want to start there and then you want to make sure you get the correct inseam so your jeans are long enough. Nobody wants a short pair of jeans and nobody wants a pair of jeans that are too big or too small either but it's a good thing to take into consideration when purchasing jeans that it's denim and denim does stretch. So depending on the fit, the desire that you want from your denim, you might be able to go a size down.
