I'm Aaron Tucker, and this is how do stylists dress to work for a fashion show. The best advice I can give any other stylists that are working fashion shows, is to dress comfortably. But then you want to think about exactly what your duties are and how active you'll be backstage. If you have a team of assistance you can kind of go a little bit dressier. If you're not going to be on your knees, rolling pants, pinning items, you have someone else doing that for you, then you can be dressed up a little bit more. But whether or not you want to be dressed up all kind of depends on what's going on backstage. Bigger fashion shows can be just as much of a production backstage as they are on the actual runway. So if you want to be seen or if you're gonna be seen, if there's videographers or photographers backstage, try to look your best, but if not, you kind of want to go for something a little more cool and casual. Myself, this is probably something I would wear to a fashion show, I'm really comfortable in this, I can move around, I can take my blazer off if I'd like, and I just have a button up and some jeans. I don't mind getting dirty or getting on the floor if I have to in my jeans. If you check out our model, cool pair of jeans, cool t-shirt, really nice and comfortable, either way are good if you're working backstage for a fashion show. Just be comfortable and try to look nice.
