I'm Aaron Tucker, and this is how are blue jeans softened. Blue jeans can be softened in a different number of ways. They can be softened before you even purchase them. A lot of jeans are treated and distressed and washed and beat up to make them softer for the consumer but it depends on what your preference is and how you want your jeans to be soft. If you want them soft in the beginning, buy some jeans that have already been treated to be soft. Me personally I love raw denim. I'm wearing raw denim currently. These jeans are not soft when they are first purchased. So in order for me to get these jeans softer, it takes wear after wear after wear. You don't want to wash raw denim too quickly because you will break down the fibers and you'll start to change the colors and the beauty in raw denim is that you want them to look like what the distressed jeans that can be pretty distressed look like but you want to do it yourself. That's the beauty of denim as well is that all the characteristics can be very individual and unique.
