How to remove dirt and scratches from wood flooring. Today, I will demonstrate two ways on how to remove dirt and scratches from wood flooring. Here’s what you should do. The first thing you will need: Stain-matching crayons, floor wax sticks, or Sharpie pens. Any of these items will work in a quick fix when it comes to scratches from pets, children, or anything abrasive that may have a scratch mark in your wood flooring. Simply take the stain-matching crayon, okay, and go over the scratch, and problem solved! Keep in mind that real hardwood floors have an array of colors and tones in them. So, if you have a slight difference, don’t worry – that’s what makes wood floors look authentic. Now, the other way to remove dirt and scratches is to do the following: First, you will need olive oil, vinegar, microfiber cloth, a small glass bowl. These ingredients work well together to remove dirt, as well as moisture and shine into the wood. For scratch marks, just pour it onto the scratch. Let sit for 24 hours, then wipe away with a microfiber cloth. For deeper scratches, repeat until the scratch disappears. No scratches, and a nice shiny floor is what you’re left with! Thanks for hanging out with Long Island’s home cleaning experts. We hope that these tips help to keep your home clean.
