Hi, Dave Johnson, editor of eHow Tech. And if I asked you what your number one complaint about your phone is, you'd probably say the battery doesn't last long enough, right. So, everybody always looking for ways to supplement their battery, get a better charge. Well, TYLT which is a company that has a whole bunch of really cool products, has the Sliding Power Case, which I have fallen in love with. It's a 2100 milliamp hour battery. What does that mean? Well, what it does for your iPhone 5 or 5S, it gives you about an extra nine hours of talk time. Which is pretty impressive. The Case actually has a unique design, i really like this thing. It comes with two insert cases. They come in different colors, comes in a blue and a black. And I like the blue personally, that's the one I pulled out of the box. And you slip your phone into it. And then, it has ridges that slide into the battery like that. And so, now your phone is about a quarter of an inch thicker and maybe a half an inch longer. So, it's a little bulkier than it was, but it's really not that bad and it slips in my pocket just fine. It has a button on the back, if you tap it, it glows a particular color to let you know what the battery charge level is. Right now it's blue, so I know that it's somewhere between 30 and 70 percent. If it were green, it would be fully charged. To start using it, I just press and hold this button for a few seconds and now, my phone is charging. It has a couple of slots at the bottom. One is for the ear phone adapter. So, it comes with an adapter, you plug it in there, you can still plug your ear buds in. And the other is a Micro-USB port, so you can charge up the battery from any USB port. And if you happen to have your phone plugged into it at the same time, the phone charges first, then the battery tops off. It's a great little system, doesn't add a whole lot of weight, but it does add a whole lot of extra talk time. Somebody that's a heavy iPhone or Galaxy 4 S user, consider getting this to help them do more with their phone longer.
