Hi, I'm Bridgett Artise, and I'm owner, designer and author of Born Again Vintage, and today we're at Born Again Vintage the Collective in Montclair, New Jersey, and I'm gonna show you how to make a sweatshirt cuter. First you take a regular sweatshirt, and then you decide what type of fabric you want to put on front of if, and then you take the fabric, and you place it on front of the sweatshirt and you pin it, the same shape as the entire front of the sweatshirt up into the ribbing. And once you pin it, then you cut, and you give yourself a couple of extra inches so you can turn it over and have a nice finished edge. Once you've pinned it all the way around, to fit the front of the t-shirt, then you cut the excess fabric away. After you do that, you turn over the edge, then you hand-sew the fabric to the sweatshirt and if you're feeling daring, you could even leave space at the bottom for pockets, and that's how you make a sweatshirt cuter.
