Hi, my name's Stefan. Today, I'm gonna be speaking on how to simplify factors. Basically let's say we have two factors here. Now to simplify these, all you do is you take one factor, and you multiply every term in the first factor times every term in the second. So that's gonna be x times this term, then x times that one. And then you move on to the next. It's gonna be three times the first term, then three times the second. So you get x-squared plus 4x plus 3x plus 12. And then when we simplify this, we get x-squared plus 7x plus 12. That's all you do. You multiply each term in the first times each term in the second.
