Hi, my name is Stefan. Today, I'm going to be speaking on how do you find the length and width when you know the perimeter and square area. Let's say for example we have the rectangle 2X by 3X and let's say we know the perimeter is 18 and we know the area is equal to 9 and we can basically solve this you know that this side is going to be 2X also so that's 2X plus 2X plus 3X plus 3X equals 18. So that's 10X equals 18 so X equals 1.8 and so our length we could put L is equivalent to 3.6 and our width is equivalent to that's 5.4.
