Hi, my name is Omega Lee, and this is how to configure an iPhone to work with a wireless router. Everyone wants to connect to Wi-Fi and sometimes they are a lot of trouble trying to figure out how to get your phone connected to the internet network that's in your local area. Okay so as usual we'll go to settings, so tap settings on your iPhone. And when you go to settings you'll tap on Wi-Fi. And right now I'm already connected to the Wi-Fi network that we're on that you are actually looking at. But assume we're not. Here what you'll see is a list of different networks that are available for you to select from. The ones with the lock symbols are ones where when you tap it you'll need to input the password. And once you do you'll be able to connect. And the ones without passwords are networks that are available that do not need a password. This is where you would put in a password if you were connecting, trying to connect to a different network. So lets take the first one 21133. So here this is where I would put in a password. I don't know it because this is not my network but lets do that. And what you'll do is you hit join. If the password is correct you'll join. And so right now you can see that I'm on the allied2 network. And I'm already connected because I put in the password. And if you look up at the top left corner you'll see the carrier symbol Verizon. And when you see that symbol right next to it that shows that I'm connected. That symbolizes that I'm on the internet and I'm the allied2 network.
