Hi. I'm Liz Lange, from Liz Lange Maternity. Today, we're going to talk about what not to wear when you're pregnant. Now, I always say there aren't really any rules but there are a few tips for looking really fashionable when pregnant. So, here's some things I think you might want to avoid. One is, stiletto heels. Yes, I know, we see celebrities that are pregnant, teetering around in them but, honestly, they're not safe. It makes others uncomfortable, nobody wants to see a pregnant woman looking off balance. They're terrible for your legs and your posture. So, we all love them but stick to more stacked heels or ballet flats or sneakers or flip flops or anything but a stiletto heel when you're pregnant. Oversize clothing, the first thing that happens so often when one gets pregnant or one gains a little weight for any reason is, you think you want to cover it up by throwing on something big and oversized. I am here to tell you that the days of wearing muumuus when you're pregnant are over. It's all about wearing things that are slim, that are cut to fit you that will really show off where, yes, you have some new curves, but also where you don't. Wear things that you love, stay away from stilettos, don't blindly follow trends and I think you'll be all set for a very, very fashionable pregnancy.
