Hi, I'm Ryan Ault. I'm a physicist and this is how to solve equations with E. Now looking at an equation such as X squared equals 3E to the Y, we need to solve for Y, so what we can do is first divide both sides by 3 and we find that X squared divided by 3 is equal to E to the Y. Now the next problem involves performing a natural log operation on both sides and we find that natural log of X squared/3 is equal to the natural log of E to the Y and using the natural log rules we find that the natural log and the E cancel and the Y comes down to the base. So now we have Y which is our right hand side, I've flipped them, is equal to the natural log, effects squared divided by 3. I'm Ryan Ault and this is how to solve equations with E.
