I'm Krayl Funch, and this is how to decorate with Christmas tins. We all get them, whether it's a cookie swap or some neighbor drops off a batch of their favorite recipe cookies. You're going to end up with a lot of Christmas tins at your house. So, what do you do with them all? Well, in this idea, we're going to take the smaller version and we're going to use them as a vessel to present a Christmas gift or a Christmas favor to your guests at your next gathering. First, take the empty tin and you're just going to select some of this crinkle cut. Now, I'm going for a little bit more of a Country feel. So, I'm going to use this craft paper. But you could definitely use white or green or red, whichever color, but try to make it contrast a little bit with the tin. So, if you have a red tin, maybe select a different color other than red. So, fill in the tin just like that. And then, for this gathering, I'm going to be using little star ornaments as their gift. So, an easy way to, these are pre-made ornaments. And then, you're just going to take a little it of ribbon, just a nice, little, maybe about 10 inches long. So that it can curl up. And then, you're going to weave it through the hole very easily, just slip it right through, tie a nice, little knot. And then, you're going to place that inside the tin. Now, I like to place these tins on top of dinner plates and set them at each person's table. And that makes a nice, little place setting for them. That way, they know where to sit, but also it's their favor. So, place that right in there and then, we're going to take this right on top. And again, I like to use some green and red plates to keep the theme going. And you can even place the lid on top there, so they have it for them.
