Hi, I'm Kristin Koury, and I'm a personal chef. I'm going to show you how to wrap pork for your freezer. I bought a bulk pack of two pork roasts at my local warehouse club. I've got one in the oven for tonight but I want to save this for another time. So I'm going to show you how to wrap this up so it's just as fresh as it is today. First thing I have a freezer bag. I am going to write on it what it is, pork sirloin roast because as much as you think you're going to remember you don't. I'm putting how much it weigh, this one weighs about two pounds and today's date. So we've got that all done before our hands get messy. Next I'm going to wrap it in plastic wrap, very carefully. You want to try to keep as much of the air out as possible so really kind of push the air out and not only once. I'm going to wrap it twice just to make sure that we keep the air out. That's how it stays nice in the freezer and fresh. Then I'm going to put it in my freezer bag and just kind of roll it so that there's no air in the bag and really push that out. Then it's ready for the freezer. So this is how you would keep your pork fresh in your freezer.
