Hi, I'm Kristin Koury. I'm a personal chef. We are going to cut corn off the cob. An easy way to do it is to slice it in half. It makes it a little bit more manageable and put the flat side on the cutting board. Take your sharp knife, run as close to the cob as possible and slowly, no race here, cut it off the cob. You want to get as close as possible to the cob. It's always so good when it's nice and fresh off the cob and do this other side. You want to get as close to the cob as possible to get some of the what they call the corn milk, that's all really good for your corn recipes. You can also take the cob and make a cob stock, put it in a pot with a little bit of water. Cook it for ten, fifteen minutes. You can use that as a base for creamed corn and for soup. So that's how to cut corn off the cob.
