Hi, I'm Kimberly Seeherman, event design expert, and owner of Events by Fabulous. Today, I'm gonna show you how to do a really cool red and white centerpiece for your holiday buffet. So, this is a great centerpiece that we've created right here, and it's really functional because we're using a hurricane, which takes up a really small footprint, so it's perfect for your holiday buffet table. Now you can see I've chosen two sizes of hurricanes, I have a 20 inch here, and a 12 inch, and I like that because you put the two vases next to each other and it just, it creates a more interesting look with the two levels. Now we're gonna take a blank hurricane, and we're gonna fill it with white and clear pebbles, and those are gonna kind of make it feel like snow rocks inside this vase. So we're gonna fill that first. Now, it's really important that we make sure that the snowy rocks are at the same level, even though the vases are different sizes. We just want to go back and forth and make sure there's exactly the right amount of rocks in each vase. Now we're gonna take some spray snow, and we're gonna snow up these vases and make them perfect for the holiday season. So we're gonna start by just going around the base, once maybe twice, to create a completely consistent and very opaque layer of snow at the very base. Now we're gonna work our way up the vase, spraying a little less snow, and kind of create a gradiated look so we have a lot of snow at the bottom, and it gets lighter and lighter as it gets to the top. Now, if you notice, we're also gonna leave some blank space in the vase itself so that you can see the snowy rocks as well as the red manzanita trees that we've put in here. So, I've only just selectively picked different places on the vase to go up with the snow to give it a very interesting look. Now we're gonna turn this design concept upside-down. We always see white snowy branches in a red vase for Christmas decorating, how about turning it the other way. So I've just picked up these manzanita branches from Michael's. They're really nice because they're actually flocked with a little bit of red velvet so it gives a little bit extra texture, but you can create this look yourself by just spray painting branches. And that's it. We just placed the red branches in the vase, just nestled them a little bit so you get a look that really looks full and interesting, and there you go. You have a beautiful table top decor that's red and white, and it's gonna look fabulous on your buffet.
