Hi, I'm Heather Klar. Can you wash khakis with jeans? Yes, of course you can wash khakis with jeans, but there are some good tips that will help both your khakis and jeans stay nice and lovely. You can wash khakis with jeans, but you want to be careful of a few things. Khakis, as you know, of course are usually on the lighter side. If jeans are also on the lighter side, you're a little bit safer, but if you have a pair of dark jeans, you're gonna want to make sure you wash them at least once or twice first, or with darker things, but after that the die should have come out at this point and it should be fine. Another sort of safe guard when washing is to turn both of them inside-out. It helps in a lot of ways from general abrasion of each of the things with the buttons and studs and things like that, but it also locks in the dye better. It sounds strange but I did a, a study in college on this. so if you turn them inside out and keep it on cold water, you should be good to go.
