How to Block Numbers From Your AT&T Landline

By Mandy Slake

Repeated calls from fax machines or unwanted callers can be a pain. If you have AT&T landline phone service, you can block up to six numbers. There's even an option to block the last number that called you, so if you don't know the number, you can still block it. You can enable call blocking service from your landline phone by dialing a special access code.

Dial "*60" from your touch-tone AT&T landline phone.

Dial 1160 from a rotary phone.

Listen to the voice prompts.

Press "3" to enable call blocking.

Dial "#", then dial the 10-digit number you want to block, followed by the "#" again.
