Replace Microsoft Internet Explorer with Mozilla Firefox with help from a friendly, self-proclaimed computer nerd with a degree in Computer Science from Arizona State University in this free video clip.
Hey, guys. I'm Gabriel Adams, and today I'm gonna show you how to replace Internet Explorer with Mozilla Firefox. So if you'd like to make Mozilla your default browser, it's pretty straight forward. Here I have my Firefox window already open, and if you want to make it your default browser, all you need to do is go to the top-left of your scree here, click on the little menu, and then to your right go ahead and click on, there we go, options, which is gonna open another menu, and then go ahead and click options again. It's gonna bring up this whole big page with all kinds of different choices. What you want to do is make sure the tab on the far right, advanced, is highlighted, and it's gonna look a lot like this, and all you need to do now is go to the bottom of the general tab, and then click make Firefox the default browser. As you can see, it updates to say Firefox is currently your default browser, and if you want, you can even click this little box right here that has a pop-up come up on start up to make sure that you still have Firefox as your basic browser. So, I'm Gabriel Adams, and that is how you make Mozilla Firefox the browser over Microsoft Internet Explorer.
