Hi, my name is Stephan. Today, I'm going to be speaking on interactive seventh grade math activities. One of the activities that I like to do, that's really helpful, is to break the class down in groups, usually groups of four and have them write down the number of siblings. And then, I have them breakdown the number of their parent's siblings or aunts and uncles. So, this project has to take more than one day, two or three days. Because they have to go home and they have to ask their parents, how many aunts and how many uncles.that they have or their parent's siblings. And this is a good way to introduce census to students and let them learn about how to make a census. And its also is good to show the evolution of the number of siblings and the number of children the parents' produced years ago. The number of kids on average was four point five and now, on average it's two point five, you know, it shows the change. And this is a very fun project because you know, it gets kids talking to their parents. And it also gets kids to interact, So, this is a very interactive activity to do in class.
