Hi. My name is Marc Joseph. I'm going to show you how to write a proposal using Microsoft Word. If you look at the screen you'll see I've already done one here for you. Basically what you want to do is make sure you have your heading at the top of the document. Put a date, address where the document is going to and give a salutation like Mr. Smith or Hello Mr. Smith. And then you want to in the body of the document make the proposal. Here I'm saying, I invented a new piece of software and I'm trying to get Mr. Smith to invest and give me the money to bring it to market. After I make that proposal I make sure and give him my name, I thank him for his consideration and a way to contact me. Because if he's giving me the money I want to make sure he can get it to me. All right. And make sure you save this document, somewhere that you can find it. As you can see I always click and save it to my documents. Give it a name, software proposal and click save. And that's how you create a proposal using Microsoft Word.
