Hi, I'm true beauty expert, David Pollock, and I'm going to share with you how to cut fragrance oils. Whether you are using fragrance oils or even essential oils, you're going to find it very potent. Using them directly on the skin can irritate the skin plus let's face it, they can even cause you headaches. So before applying them as a perfume or even if you want to use them as a diffuser, you want to be able to cut them and there's two ways you can do it. One of the ways is to cut it with alcohol. You would use one ounce of Vodka to every ten drops of fragrance oil or your favorite essential oil or even your essential oil blend. Mix them together and then add it to an atomizer. As you mist it or spray it out, the alcohol is going to evaporate and leave the essential oil aroma there on the skin and you're going to have made your room the perfect perfume. Another way to do it if you want to go alcohol free because alcohol can be drying to the skin is to use Jojoba or Squalene. Jojoba oil and Squalene actually mimic the skin's structure and closely match it. So it's one of my favorites. So take just maybe for every two drops of fragrance oil or essential oil to one drop of the Jojoba or Squalene. Mix them together, let them sit overnight so they can absorb together and then apply it to pulse points. Now you're going to have a very strong perfume without irritating the skin.
