I'm true beauty expert David Pollock. And I'm here to share with you how to make your own skin wax. Skin waxes has become popular but why spend a fortune at the stores when you can make it yourself. It's very simple to make your own sugaring wax. Take a couple of cups of sugar. We are going to take some lemon juice, some little bit of water. And then a little bit of glycerin. You combine it in the saucepan. Heat it up to about 250 stirring it frequently. You don't want it to sit and burn. So you want to keep stirring it. As the water evaporates you are going to find it turning into more of a rubbery or molasses type material. Once it gets to that stage pour it into small plastic bowls. Then let it sit and cool and you've now made the finished product that you are going to need when it comes time for waxing. Then when you decide to wax take one of those bowls, put it into the microwave for about 15 seconds and take it out. It will have a nice gel or molasses type consistency. Then apply it with a Popsicle stick in the opposite of direction of the hair. By doing so you are going to be able to get down into the root. Apply cloth or linen strips. Allow it to sit and completely cool. Now here's the trick. Hold the skin taught and then rip it off in one flow.
