Hey, everybody. Joe Liptock, audio engineer here, and today I'm going to be talking about turning on your sound while in safe mode. Safe mode is a bummer. What safe mode basically does is it deactivates all your unnecessary drivers that your computer doesn't need to run on a very primitive basis. So naturally your sound will be disabled. But how do you reenable it while you're in safe mode? Power on your computer and repeatedly press the F8 button to access the Windows boot screen. Press the down arrow key on your keyboard to select boot Windows in safe mode. Then press the enter key. Click start and then click on the control panel link and then click the device manager link. Click the sound, video and game controllers option to expand the list. Right click the sound driver and then click enable from the list. Close the device manager and restart Windows normally. And voila, all you got to do is just restart your computer and your sound should be back. So that's how you reenable your sound in safe mode. I'm Joe Liptock. Thanks for watching guys. Have a good one.
