Hi, my name is Autumn Wintersgill from Knitting In The Red. And today, we're going to talk about how to connect two knitting sections on an infinity scarf. We have an infinity scarf or a mobius scarf here. You can see the obvious twist in the center that's characteristic of every good mobius scarf. However if you have trouble making the mobius cast on, there is an easier way for you to achieve this beautiful effect in your knitting. Here we have a plain, flat knitted scarf, and we want to connect it in the round with the characteristic mobius twist. So, we're going to take these live stitches that I have on this needle and we're going to attach them to the other end, with no live stitches. But we're going to put a twist in the middle. So, when you reach the length of the scarf that you would like, so that it drapes around the neck at the point where you want it to be. You'll just take the end and give it a twist. And then, you'll put the right sides together and we're going to graft the ends of this scarf together. And I'll show you the way that we do this. So, we're going to take the first stitch of the starting point, where you cast on and the first stitch that is live on your needle. And we're going to wrap the yarn, our working yarn around the crochet hook and pull it through both of these stitches. And then, we're going to take this stitch that was live on our needle and we're just going to slide it off. And we're going to continue. So, we'll go into the second stitch of our cast on and the second stitch of our live stitches. And we're going to pull it through, and slip that live stitch off. Now, we have two stitches over here on our crochet hook. So, we're going to pull this first stitch on our hook right here through the other stitch. That's just going to bind it off and secure it. And then, we're going to go into the third stitch and just repeat this process. So that we're wrapping and pulling through and then, slipping the live stitch off and slipping the first stitch through the second stitch. And we have our twist in the middle for our mobius. Again, my name is Autumn Wintersgill from Knitting In The Red, and you just learned how to connect two knitting sections on an infinity scarf.
