Hello, my name is Mr. Bee, head barber of Frank's Chop Shop located, Lower East Side of New York City. Today, we'll be discussing discussing hairstyles that work for older men. I have my friend, Dave here today and as you can see, Dave already has a really nice set of hair. Common misconception with older men is that they can't get away with young, fresh looks. That's not necessarily true. A older man can get away with that, the idea is to keep the edges tidy, though. And it should also be noted that every good hairstyle starts in the shower with a shampoo such Dove Men's Plus Fortifying Shampoos. So, with Dave, essentially has nice, full hair here. He can wear it loose on the weekends if wants. And when he's in a board a meeting or in his professional career. He can just apply a little bit of product to keep it groomed and again, noted the edges looking very tidy. So, as I mentioned, the main thing with an older gentlemen's style is keeping the edges tidy. That's as simple as cutting around the ears, as such. You just comb it down, you;re going to do the same thing on the other side. You can pull the ear down a little bit, just precaution. And also on the back of the neck that tends to have a lot of scruff that grows. You're going to want to invest in a nice, little trimmer, it's as simple as this. And be careful not go too high up into the neckline, you want it to look as natural as possible. So, once again, these are just some thoughts and ideas on hairstyles that would work for older men. My name is Mr. Bee, head barber at Frank's Chop Shop located in the Lower East Side of New York City.
