Hello, I'm Jesica, an e-learning specialist, and I'm here to show you how to make a matrix in Microsoft Excel. So, a matrix is a rectangular array of elements, arranged in rows and columns, used to show the placement of concepts along the axis. And this of course is according to the Microsoft Office website. So, in actuality, you could say that an Excel in and of itself is a Matrix. But let's say you want to make something a little prettier. So starting with Excel 2007 and all the way through to Excel 2013, we can really simple put in some great what they call smart art, so I'm gonna insert a smart art graphic. And right here we even have a category called matrix, and I just choose one that I like, and I insert it, and then I can type in my text. And there you have a really pretty matrix. By the way, this works exactly the same in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. So I hope this helps, thanks for watching.
