Hi I'm beauty expert, Tracy O'Connor and today I'm going to show you how to make skin even and smooth. Who doesn't want even smooth radiant skin? The fastest way to a gorgeous complexion is through exfoliation, hydration and treating your skin with great ingredients especially antioxidants. The best way to deliver healthy effective ingredients to the skin is through using a highly concentrated serum. Serums penetrate the skin cells faster than a traditional moisturizer so today on our lovely model, Julia, I'm going to demonstrate the Midnight Recovery Concentrate by Kiehl's. Okay now with a serum you just need a couple of drops. Serums are highly concentrated so we just place a couple of drops onto our fingertip. Now we're going to go ahead and apply. I can already smell this serum. It smells so refreshing, it has essential oils including lavender which is calming, reduces inflammation in the skin. When our skin is inflamed, frequently our skin tone doesn't look even. We might have blotchiness, even some puffiness, and so the lavender oil is going to help to combat that. So this serum works with the skin's natural nocturnal activity. That's when our skin is repairing itself, that's when the hormones are being produced that cause our skin to regenerate. So at night, always the best time to apply a serum and you want to apply a serum prior to your moisturizer and you want to allow the serum to absorb into the skin at least two to three minutes prior to following with your moisturizer. Okay for healthy radiance, I love the acronym ACE. You want to look for other ingredients such as vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin E. Vitamin A is an exfoliant, a natural exfoliant that will help to turn your skin cells over. When your skin cells are turning over, that reveals fresher healthier radiant skin. Additionally vitamin C, fantastic antioxidant, so effective, proven to reduce sun spots, blemishes, little red marks, highly effective antioxidant that's great to incorporate into your product regimen. This Midnight Recovery Serum is packed with essential oils including primrose oil which also reduces inflammation and delivers hydration to the skin cells. As we get older it's a good idea to also use our serum on our neck and our chest. Our neck and chest skin is thinner than the rest of our face so it's also going to show signs of aging so go ahead and use any kind of serum or concentrate on your skin at night on your neck and chest as well. So we finished applying our serum, our concentrate on Julia and her skin looks glowing, it looks so radiant, definitely incorporate a serum into your regimen at night and that's how to make skin even and smooth. I'm Tracy O'Connor. Thanks for watching.
