Hi, I'm Sharon Whelchel filming here in Tustin, California from my crochet studio from my Etsy shop, Starlike, and today I'm going to be teaching you guys how to crochet an egg shape. So to begin with, take your yarn and chain four. Now slip stitch to make a ring and we're going to be working all out of this little ring right here. So go ahead and chain two and this is going to be your first double crochet and now we're going to add eight more double crochets into that same ring. Alright, and next we're going to do a triple or a treble crochet so yarn over twice, insert into that same ring, yarn over and pull through, yarn over, pull through the first two loops, yarn over pull through the next two loops, yarn over pull through the last two loops. And you'll do that one more time. Now you'll chain one and then do two more triple crochets. And then next you're just going to slip stitch it into the first stitch that you did and just kind of tuck in your end. And that is how to crochet an egg shape.
