Welcome class to Meganomics 101. Today's makeup vice lesson is on how to apply turmeric to the skin. So, let's get started because class is in session. Talking about turmeric is like talking about the eighth wonder of the world. This stuff helps to fight against cancer causing free radicals, it helps to fight against cancer developing in the body, it's an anti-inflammatory, it's anti-antiseptic,it cures acne, age spots. This is the stuff, eczema, rosacea, turmeric is your answer. How are you going to apply this to your skin? You're just going to throw it on, you're not going to just throw it on, because it will be pointless and you'll get the powder in your nose and it'll be devastating. So, I want to give you just a couple of suggestions on different masks you could use that are used throughout Asia for centuries. And now, it's here for you on, and the benefits are millions. So, let's move onto our first mask suggestion, which is just one-fourth teaspoon of turmeric into a little bit of coconut oil. You just pour it in, so go ahead and mix the coconut oil up with the turmeric. And then, you can take cotton ball, I like to be fancy and pretend I'm having a day at the spa, and take a fan brush. And I just lightly paint the face, the entire face and some of the neck area with the you know, an inexpensive fan brush. And I leave it on for about 15 to 20 minutes. Be mindful when you put it on, that you're going to be laying on top of a towel or not wearing your favorite clothes. Otherwise you're going to be going on to eHow to look for how to get turmeric out of my clothes? So, you're going to put it on, you're going to sit for about 15 minutes, 20 minutes, meditate, light candle, practice gratitude, just relax. And then, you're going to go ahead and rinse it off, simply rinse it off, put on your moisturizer, bada- bing, bada-bing, you've got turmeric, you applied turmeric to the skin. Our next, our next mask suggestion is honey and turmeric and lemon. This is your acne cocktail. Honey is a humectant, and once you put that on your skin, its going to lock in moisture. Lemon is cleansing, the vitamin C is anti-ageing, it's antiseptic, it's cleansing. These three things together are going to help balance your skin in a major way and you're going to notice a strong difference. So, same thing, mix it up into a nice paste and I like the consistency, I like the sticky masks, anything that makes me feel like I'm really doing something interactive, is fun. Again, using a fancy fan brush, just so you feel ooh-la-la, paint your skin, put it on, it's perfect. Let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes, relax, don't move around a lot, you don't want to get it all over the place. And simply rinse it off and then, put your favorite moisturizer on. You can mix it with coconut milk, regular milk, leave it on for you know, half an hour, same thing. There's a million ways you can put turmeric on your skin, these are just a couple. I hope that you enjoyed it, class dismissed.
