Hello, everyone, I'm Joshua Clement with Lighty Contractors. And today, I'm going to show you how to wire a ventilation fan and light. For this job you'll need a couple different tools. For this job, you will need a pair of wire strippers, wire nuts and a Philips head screwdriver. First thing you're going to do is go ahead and strip about half inch off of your wire coming through the ceiling. If you notice, we have a black, a copper and a white wire. What you will do is take the two white wires, bunch them together and then put your copper wire in from your ceiling and wire nut them altogether. Now, here we have a blue wire and a black wire. One is for your light and the other's for your fan. And if you're going to run them on one switch, what you'll do is take your black wire, bunch them together and wire nut them together. Now, with your copper wire, you will remove this plate right here. If you take it up, you will see a green screw. What you'll do is take, put a bend in your copper wire, place it over your screw. Take your copper wire, place it over your screw. Now, take your Philips head screwdriver and tighten it down. Now, after that's done, you can tuck your wires into the back, put your cap on, put your screw back into place. And there you have it. I'm Joshua Clement with Lighty Contractors, and we just talked about how to wire up a ventilation fan with light. Good luck with this project.
