Hi, my name is Jamie Levine from ChefJamieLevine.com, and today I am going to show you how to keep fresh fruit from turning dark. So here I have a pear perfect example of a type of fruit that will quickly brown. And what causes the browning is oxygen. That is what causes the oxidation. So super simple trick take citrus, any type. I prefer lemons because they're kind of the cleanest and crispiest of flavors of all the citrus and you just want to go ahead, sprinkle a little like so. That's going to immediately stop some of the browning and another little trick is to store your fruit in some sort of container that will not allow oxygen to hit.
