Hi, my name is Jamie Levine from chefjamielevine.com, and today I'm going to show how to make a fruit blizzard. So I'm going to go with a strawberry blizzard today. It's just one of my favorite flavors. And it's super simple, it's just three ingredients. A little bit of milk, frozen strawberries, and strawberry ice cream. So everything is going to go into the blender. I am going to start with putting the liquid at the bottom. It makes everything easier to blend. And I'm reserving some of my milk on the side just because I can always adjust the thickness. But one of the signature kind of components of a blizzard is that it is really thick. So you don't want it to be too thin the way a milkshake would. So next I'm going to put in about five or six frozen strawberries. You want them to be frozen because it just lends to the texture. I'll do that. And then strawberry ice cream really well chilled. And I'm just going to throw in the whole pint. So all that goes into the blender. And I'm just going to turn this on at medium speed till everything is blended. You may need to help it out a little. Let's get down in there with your spatula. Add a little more milk. Again you don't want to thin this out too, too much. You can listen to the beautiful noises of your blender. And I am going to go just scoop this all out right into my glass. And this is exactly the thickness you are looking for. I don't know if there's a graceful way to do this. This looks delicious. Garnish it with a straw. and now it is ready to drink.
