How Do I Help Neck Wrinkles?

Hi, my name is Maureen Murphy. I'm with Escada Hair and Beauty Spa in Norwood, Massachusetts and I am here today to talk to you about how to hide neck wrinkles, blech. So as we get older, our muscles relax and we stop producing collagen and elastin and so what happens is you start to get wrinkles in your skin and we get them on our face and we get them on our neck and we get them on our chest and once you have this, there are a few things that you can do to help improve them and then there are a few things that you can do to help camouflage them. So a couple of the things you can do to help improve them is finding the right anti-aging moisturizer or cream. The best way to do this is to go to either an esthetician or a dermatologist. They have all the latest products and information for you to find the best one for your skin type. Another thing that you can do is facial yoga and what facial yoga does is it exercises the muscle that is relaxed and it also stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. One of the facial yogas that you can do is you lift your head all the way up tot he sky and you kiss the sky and like I said, this will exercise the muscle and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. There's a lot more facial yoga techniques that you can find online and of course you can find a yoga instructor to help you with this as well and another thing that's very important is you want to stay hydrated. Staying hydrated will always help your skin and it will always improve your complexion and another thing you want to do is stay out of the sun. The UVA rays cause 80% of our aging. So what you want to do is use a great sunblock that has UV protection and keep using that and remember, it's what you do when you are young that helps you when you are older, not what you do once you get there. So start doing these things now while you are young and there's a couple things that you can do to help camouflage neck wrinkles. One of them is to distract the eye away from the neck. One way to do that is to wear a long necklace and a hairpiece. This draws the eye down and it draws the eye up and it distracts the eye from looking at your neck. Another thing you can do is use a scarf and you can use a scarf to wrap around your neck and camouflage that as well. So hopefully this helped you.
